What made it so terrible? I missed it :(

It was aimless. And it didn't really have any meat. Gnomedex doesn't want
shallow feel good sessions. They want something to sink teeth into and
challenge thought process. It was also very echo chambery.

I think the audience did a pretty good job of self-correcting, one of the
nice things about an open and honest Gnomedex conference.

Makes perfect sense. Thank you for taking the time to explain, Aaron :)

A lot of the folks who had things to say on Twitter who were at Gnomedex had the opportunity to stand and comment, but didn't.

There was no lack of people standing and commenting, however.

Drew - I am not sure what you are saying. Can you explain yourself a bit more? I heard you talking about this a bit at Gnomedex but not sure of your point. Aaaron - you know what really gets to me about your rant? You use a limerick as a way to demean Sarah. That is link baiting at its worst, sloppy blogging at best.

Eh #suckit, Dan. I was having fun.

Fun, huh? You were being a punk. Shows in your reply, too. What a joke. I look forward to watching your slow decline.

    See ya.

What I meant was, a lot of the people complaining about what was being said during the keynote (very few of them) had a chance to stand up there AT the conference and be a part of the conversation, but chose not to.
